Disability Theology
Ministerial Intern Rosemary Dodd preaching with Rev. Dr. Roger Jones, Worship Associate Dawn Huebner, Music Director Anthony Tavianini, Pianist Irina Tchantceva.
Gathering in wisdom of disability activists and theologians, this service will explore the spiritual metaphors which so often use disability as something negative, a challenge to overcome. In the spirit of radical love and acceptance of our own bodies and humanity, we will explore the spiritual wholeness of all of us.
Before: Exploring UUism at 9:30 in the Fahs Room. Learn about UU values, beliefs and the proposed revisions to Article II, the UUA’s official statement of UU identity.
After: Reception for Minister Emeritus Douglas Kraft at 12:00 in the Fahs Room to honor the 50th anniversary of his ordination. All welcome. Conversation, refreshments, and snacks!

To attend services and indoor UUSS programs in person, proof of being fully vaccinated (including a booster shot) is required along with a photo ID (or adult guardian/parent) for all individuals who are old enough to be eligible for vaccination.
