The UUSS Endowment Trust was established in 1980 to safeguard and strengthen our mission and long term vitality. The Trust receives gifts from members and friends and pays out a percentage of the fund for our special and non-recurring needs.
Undesignated memorial contributions under $1,000 are deposited in the Endowment Trust.
Other gifts should always specifically designate the UUSS Endowment Trust.
Recent projects supported by the Endowment Trust include the 2011 Entryway Redesign, Coffee Brewing System and Serving Cart, Kitchen Renovation, Entryway Canopy, UUrthSong CommUUnity Garden, Children's Art Framing, Coming of Age Boston Heritage Trip, Gallery Art Hanging System for the Sanctuary, and Green Sanctuary projects.
