Margaret WilcoxMargaret Wilcox joined UUSS in 2004, shortly after moving from the Bay Area. Following a career as an educational psychologist, university faculty member and then UC Extension administrator at the Berkeley and Davis campuses, she now is having fun as a volunteer with several organizations, including UUSS. She was Vice-President of the Board of Trustees in 2007-08 and then President in 2008-09 and 2009-10. She also served as Membership Committee chair for two years, has participated in Interweave, in Welcoming Congregation training, in the UU Legislative Ministry and chaired the search task force that brought Rev. Roger Jones to UUSS. She and her husband, Wayne, have a daughter who lives with her partner in Washington State and a son who resides with his wife in Connecticut. |

Bill StormBill Storm joined UUSS in 2007, after attending for two years before that. He works as an instructional technology coordinator and webmaster for Davis public schools, following twenty-two years as a science educator for grades 5 through 12 in California and New York. He also works with UC Davis College of Veterinary Medicine, Center for Animal Alternatives in the development and dissemination of ethical science education practice. Prior to his career as an educator, he worked as a theatrical lighting designer, and continues this work with a local dance company. Bill and his wife Danielle share six children, the oldest a college student and the youngest a fifth grader. Skating, bicycling, backpacking and work on behalf of Two Sentinels Girl Scout Camp keeps the entire family happily busy. |

Barbara GardnerBarbara Gardner, chair of UUMPF and member of the oversight committee, joined UUSS in 1997. She loves not only that it is her spiritual home, but the quality of the community it provides. She is currently retired after working as a neurologist at Kaiser for 24 years, and is enjoying the ‘giving back’ phase of her life as well as the opportunity to indulge more fully in long term interests. She’s been very involved at UUSS and has served as a worship leader and member of the lay ministry. She has taught OWL (UUSS’s human sexuality course) to our junior high members, serves on Doug’s Committee on Ministry, was the chief coordinator for Searching for the Future, and chair of the follow-up group Vision Into Action. She’s been a member of a ministry circle, part of one of Doug’s Spiritual Journey groups, a member of the nominating committee, and a participant in multiple NWEI (Northwest Earth Institute) courses at UUSS. She loves UUSS, outdoor activities, and fabric art. She and her husband, Don Thornberry, have three children, all of whom are grown and out forging their own paths in the world. |

Carrie CornwellCarrie Cornwell, has a life-long association with UUSS, having grown up in the congregation. She has previously served two years on the Board as Vice President and then as President. Carrie was on the search committee that brought the Rev. Doug Kraft here, is a trustee to the UUSS Endowment, has chaired or co-chaired the stewardship drive multiple times, advises the Senior High Youth Group, and has served as a worship leader. Carrie works as Chief Consultant to the Transportation and Housing Committee of the California State Senate. An adjunct professor of economics at Sacramento City College and Sierra College, she is active in numerous community organizations. Carrie earned a Bachelors in Economics from UCLA and Masters in Public and International Affairs from Princeton. She lives in Land Park with her husband Greg Redmond and their son Alec. |

Ginger Enrico In 2009-2010 Ginger served on Carole Czujko’s internship committee, the entry committee, UUMPF and she co-lead the pledge campaign that year. In 2010-2011 she continues with UUMPF as a member of the master plan oversight committee, and she leads the stewardship team. Ginger enjoys the SGL (Spiritually Grounded Leadership) group and going to UUSS religions classes and Theater One with her husband, Roy. Roy and Ginger raised their two children in the First Unitarian Church of Dallas. They live in Rancho Cordova’s Sunriver neighborhood where she serves as liaison between the neighborhood and the American River Parkway Coalition. Ginger likes to walk the river with her two dogs and go on day hikes around California. A former alternative school teacher, she’s been a clinical psychologist for over 20 years, with a private practice of families, couples, and individuals. |
