Music is an integral part of UUSS’s mission; our UUSS community is an ‘extended family’ of music lovers! Twice a month from September through May our UUSS choir ministers through music to all who attend Sunday services. The choir sings at almost every “All Ages” services, and from time to time joins with youth and children to share an intergenerational musical gift.
This all-volunteer, non-auditioned choir is open to everyone who loves music! Music reading is helpful but not required. Rehearsals take place every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fahs classroom from late August through mid-May. All who love music, fun, fellowship, and serving others through singing are welcome. For more information, please contact us at music@uuss.org.
Instrumentalists are also invited to share their gifts, and our UUSS instrumental ensemble plays occasionally throughout the school year, and often at Christmas time. Music reading ability is necessary. For more information, please contact us at music@uuss.org.
