The prayerful words of Howard Thurman (1899-1981) remind us that we all have an interior life and we belong to something larger than ourselves. In 1944, Thurman co-founded the first inter-racial, interfaith congregation, Fellowship Church, in San Francisco. We’ll sample just a few of his legendary meditations tonight.
