Kwanzaa: Celebrating Community, Collective Responsibility, Purpose, and Faith

by Rev Dr. Roger Jones

Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento

Sunday, December 29, 2024

Since its creation in 1966, the African American observance of Kwanzaa has brought friends together every Dec. 26 to Jan. 1.  Renee and Ted’s family has celebrated it since their children were small. Other UUSS members have their own take on its communitarian values.  All ages are welcome to this service, and the Nursery is closed today.
