Summer Repeat! Chronos and Kairos

by Rev. Lucy Bunch

Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento

Sunday, August 25, 2024

This Sunday Rev. Lucy will share a favorite sermon from October 2020 when we were in the height of the pandemic. Maybe your past self will remember it, but if not, hopefully, your future self will.
As the pandemic wears on, time seems to have changed. What’s up with that?  The ancient Greeks had two words for time: Chronos and Kairos. The former refers to chronological or sequential time, while the latter signifies a proper or opportune time for action. We will explore both this Sunday.
