As UU’s we have a living tradition, our liberal faith is not carved in stone but always evolving. Our denomination and UU congregations across the country are taking a deeper look at how we take on the work of dismantling racism. An 8th principle focused on racial justice has been proposed for Unitarian Universalists. What does it mean for us as individuals and as a congregation? We have a “Black Lives Matter” banner, a racial justice strategic plan goal. What is our responsibility as UUs to meet this moment?
