ACT Environmental Justice Committee members learn about the enduring legacy of post-traumatic slave syndrome

Three of our Sacramento ACT Environmental Justice Committee members attended ACT’s breakfast on how the legacy of slavery continues to impact our communities in 2018.  It was excellent and very educational.  Looking forward to reading speaker Dr. Joy DeGruy’s book “Post-Traumatic Slave Syndrome:  America’s Enduring Legacy of Injury and Healing.”
