Today our Sac ACT Environmental Justice Committee had an excellent meeting with Sacramento County staff to discuss our initial ideas for addressing environmental justice issues (housing, pollution exposure, public facilities and community engagement) in our West Arden Arcade community. Forum and Discussion Sponsoring & Accompaniment with Transgender Asylum Seekers The Immigrant Justice group at UUSS is proud to be able to work together with many local immigrant groups, including NorCal Resist. NorCal Resist does amazing local grassroots community organization, and one important area they support is the Sponsorship and Accompaniment for Trans Asylum Seekers.
The Congregational Safety Task Force is developing a team of trained medical responders who can help us deal with medical emergencies on our campus. There is a survey form in the Order of Service this Sunday which will help identify those congregants who are interested in joining this team. There will be a table in the Welcome
