Finding Light On The Parkway, Thursday, April 1, 2020

Hi, Folks,
I was talking to this Great Blue Heron on the Parkway a couple of days ago. He seemed awfully irate, so I asked him what concerned him. He told me that he’d been obsessed with listening to MSNBC day after day and it was really distressing. Later on, I met a Great Red Heron who had similar feelings about being addicted to Fox News. I assured both of them that their feelings were understandable and suggested they consider taking a break from the 24 hour news cycle, take some deep breaths, and restore some calm to their lives. I do hope they followed through.
Wishing you the peacefulness available outside the maelstrom of the news cycle,
Dave*
*’Course, there’s no such thing as a “Great Red Heron”… Just April fooling. I hope you have some fun today, too!

You’re welcome, Roger. The heron feels better. I heard from him that he was going to enroll in a yoga class…
Thank you, Dave. I hope you did calm the great bird, while providing a smile for us!
