June 1 & 15 -with JoAnn Anglin and Rev. Roger, 10:00-11:00 a.m. uuss.org/online for Zoom access
On the first and third Monday mornings of the month, join local poet and UUSS lay leader JoAnn as she brings this popular Sunday Morning Spiritual Practice to our community online. She chooses a poem which we read together and then we notice phrases which raise questions or speak to us. Poem for May 17 was “You Can’t Have it All,” by Barbara Ras (b. 1949). We had 14 people participating!
We can send you the poem of the week in advance, but you can find it by clicking the title.
Poem for June 1: “When Giving Is All We Have,” by Alberto Rios
This is in our Zoom stream, just like the Tuesday vespers and Sunday morning services.
