Dec. 29, 9:30-10:10, Fahs Classroom. Writer Louisa May Alcott (1832-88) was the child of two Unitarian parents. Her dad was a visionary and radical educator who didn’t handle money well, so they moved a lot. The UUSS Family Ministry Team has rented a whole theater space in Arden for the Jan. 12 outing to see the film by Greta Gerwig, who was a child at UUSS. Her parents are active members. Tickets will be sold after church Dec. 22, 29, Jan. 5.
Come get an exclusive UU preview as Rev. Roger leads a new 5th Sunday Forum.
Child Care provided at 9:20 AM so parents/guardians can attend this program before church.

We were surprised at how popular this outing has turned out to be. Thanks to an enthusiastic response after church on Dec. 22 and since then, we are now at capacity and there is a waiting list. However, it is unlikely that we’ll have a larger theater space on Jan. 12. So I hope everyone who’d like to see this movie can do so, on your own or with a friend or perhaps a new acquaintance. I’ll post my notes from today’s talk. We had about 30 people. A wide range of familiarity with the book, all the way from those who had read the book and seen earlier movies and miniseries of “Little Woman” to those for whom the 2019 movie is a new experience.
Fliers were handed out containing this link https://forrms.gle/aTcd24hbVDLvvMvt5 but it also does not work. Contact and hopefully she can help you out.
Hi ! I thought I heard in church on Sunday that you can buy tickets to the 1/12 showing of “Little Women” on your website but I am not finding it. I will be OOT this w/e and don’t know if I will attend church on 1/5 to buy then. I am not a member, I am in SAC for extended time working and occasionally attend. I met Greta Gerwig’s parents during the “meet and greet” component of your service purely by accident the day after viewing “Lady Bird” :)
