Greetings Intrepid Advocates!  You have received a number of emails from the advocate team with specific actions we can take to support the work of our partners from Public Health Advocates (PHA) and Sacramento PoliticCorps related to racial justice and housing solutions for our unhoused neighbors.

Be prepared!

• Attend an online gathering Monday June 13th at 5 PM to learn more about the issues and prepare for the Day of Action. Click here to attend. 

• Watch a brief video slide show prepared by PHA that is a succinct summary of what the Board has done, “What we Got” and PHA’s assessment of “What we Need.” In addition to the templates we have provided, this video is a useful tool to help you craft your comments or email.
• Prepare your remarks by reviewing these talking points on the purpose of our action.

Attend: If you are attending the Board of Supervisors meeting and are not carpooling, meet your fellow UUSS advocates and representatives from PHA and PoliticCorps in front of 700 H Street at 9:00 AM.  We will walk in together. Carpool: If you would like to carpool, meet at the church at 8:00 AM.

Call in: Call in to the meeting at 9:30 AM, 916-875-2500 and select Agenda item # One when prompted. You call in you will be given specific instruction to follow when it’s your turn to speak.
