Ready, Set, Show Up! Tuesday June 14th 9 AM – Day of Action

The time is NOW to take ACTION…show up, call in, send emails and letters. On June 14, let the Board of Supervisors hear from UUSS that we want racial equity and housing solutions to be the top two priorities in allocating American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funds.  Martin Luther King admonished us that “our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” This matters!

Show Up– To the Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday June 14th at 9 AM to advocate for the Board of Supervisors to make racial equity and housing solutions the top two priorities for the allocation of American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funds. We will meet outside of 700 H Street and go in as a group to the meeting.  We are joining our partners from Public Health Advocates and Sacramento PolitiCorps.

Check your email on Sunday, June 12 for specific instructions regarding carpooling, parking options and anything else that is critical for you to know.

Call-in – during the meeting on June 14th and support those two priorities.  More details to follow.   Watch your email on Sunday June 12th.
