Your elected Board of Trustees meets monthly with the next meeting on Thurs Sept 28th at 6:30 pm. You are welcome to join us in the UUSS library or on Zoom. The agenda is available at Agendas.

We respect the importance of keeping the congregation up to date on current and upcoming conversations. UUSS’ Constitution establishes a Board that makes policy decisions and oversees long-range planning. Board Vision Distilled at Productive Retreat
On August 19th your Board gathered for three hours of visionary contemplation of our purpose and how to best achieve our Congregation’s shared aspirations. We reviewed the Goals as set out in UUSS’ five-year Strategic Plan and noted commitments made since then (check out the Strategic Plan Overview and Full Plan.) The Board recognizes that current UUSS finances are insufficient to fully realize our shared visions and commitments. UUSS relies on the congregation’s generosity and enthusiasm to realize these dreams.

Join In: Activity Fair this Sunday Sept 10th After Service
This event invites you to peruse the many paths to involvement and engagement at UUSS. Both new folks and longtime members will have the opportunity to kibitz with enthusiastic people quick to offer a chair and a chat about their particular activity, group, or committee.

Ministerial Sabbaticals
If you haven’t already heard, Rev. Roger will be away from Sep 4th through Jan 31st in 2024! After his return, Rev. Lucy will be on sabbatical from Feb through May 2024. The congregation supports this time of rest, renewal, study, and individual ministry enhancing projects.

This beautiful leather-bound book commemorates many generous gifts from loving people – past and present – who have shared their resources to endow UUSS. Find this book in a quiet corner in the library.
