Changes in Covid Practices on Sunday Mornings
Masks Recommended but not Required
UUSS no longer checks for proof of vaccination, but we recommend vaccinations and boosters. The Board strongly encourages masking in the sanctuary when possible, to respect the concerns of others. However, the Board will no longer require masks indoors on Sundays. If there are masked people seated next to you, please ask them before removing your own mask.
Hand sanitizer and masks are available in the Welcome Hall. The Board recommends continued practice of those other actions that make a difference in keeping us all healthier: keep social distance, wash your hands often, get vaccinated (including a flu shot!), test when needed, and stay home when you are sick or Covid positive. Along with the Board, our ministers remind us that in our community, these times of challenge and change call for extra grace, patience, consideration of one another.
