Covid-19 Protocols at UUSS

from our Board of Trustees
Given that State and County mandates have changed regarding face masks in public gatherings, this message clarifies that the UUSS policy on physical gatherings has not changed at this time.
As approved by our Board of Trustees in 2021, face masks are mandatory when attending UUSS events that are open to the public and held indoors. They are also required outdoors in the presence of children not yet old enough to be vaccinated. To attend services and other indoor events, please provide proof of being fully vaccinated (according to CDC definitions, this includes a booster shot) along with your ID; if you have done this on an earlier visit, then you can just check your name off the list when arriving for church.
The guidelines were established as both a recognition of the longing of so many of us to gather in person with our community and as an expression of care for the health and protection of all who may attend UUSS. Among us are members, friends, and children who are immuno-compromised, or who are not old enough to be vaccinated.
We thank you for your ongoing patience and care in these times. We thank our ministers and staff and lay leaders whose efforts have made participation in small groups and Sunday services possible on Zoom or in well-ventilated settings on campus. Any change will be announced on the website, Weekly Message email, and monthly email message from the Board of Trustees.
Feel free to leave a comment or question about this post.
