Even though we now have two services each week and a few other activities happening weekly by way of Zoom, the Covid-19 Pandemic has bumped many events for the congregation.

All-Ages Camp–With regret the volunteer leaders of our All-Ages Camp announce that the camp has been canceled for this June.  The Sons of Norway Recreation Center will be closed until after the weekend of our reservation.  It would have been so good to be together as families and members of all ages and stages of life, especially after this time of stress and uncertainty.  We’re sorry!  However, we have a confirmed booking for next year already—our requested weekend of Friday afternoon till Sunday noon, June 11-13, 2021.   Please mark your calendars and look forward to next March, when camp registration opens at UUSS.

Auction Items–Many of us were also looking forward to getting together for some of the meals, outings, presentations and social events offered by generous volunteers in our March 7 Service Auction.  That auction and the Sunday following it were our last in-person gatherings as a community.  Unfortunately, holding events in April and May looks highly unlikely, given public health restrictions.  We appreciate our hosts’ generosity in postponing and everyone’s patience in rescheduling.  If you need to cancel your plan to attend one of those events, you have some options:  1) If a financial hardship means you should cancel your purchase and not attend the postponed event, you may request a refund at .  2) If you don’t expect you’ll be able to attend a rescheduled event and wish to donate the cost of it to the church, Bookkeeper Michele Ebler can report it as a tax-deductible donation rather than the purchase of a good or service.  She is at .  3) You may wait for the rescheduled meal, outing or event.  With anticipation building, each event will be better than ever!  We hope it is #3 but understand if your needs are otherwise.  We look forward to the time when we can celebrate with old friends and new acquaintances at all the auction events.
