Youth Coming of Age – program info session Sunday, June 2

Plan to stay after the service next Sunday, June 2. At 12;15, our Coming of Age coordinator for 2019-20, UUSS member Janet Lopes, will talk about this special program.
We invite youth, parents, grandparents, anybody who might like to support this 9-month program, and anybody who has been part of it in the past.
Coming of Age takes place every few years for UUSS adolescents to explore their beliefs, values, and identities as part of a UU faith community. Monthly meetings take place in addition to the normal Sunday RE program; there are three weekend retreats with specific themes at which they meet youth from other UU churches in the Pacific Central District, and there is a concluding worship service next spring as well as a celebratory meal for the youth, their adult mentors, and families.
Feel free to leave a comment or question about this post.
