List of nominees for 2020 Community Partners

At the Oct. 20 Congregational Meeting, voting Members of UUSS will choose 12 not-for-profit organizations to be our Community Partners for the next calendar year. This means that 50% of our Sunday Offering will be shared with a partner for a month at a time. (This doesn’t count checks or other donations clearly marked as “pledge” contributions, only other checks to UUSS and loose cash donations.)
Below are the organizations that were nominated by Oct. 1. You can Google the name to find the organization’s website.
The Board of Trustees will have paper ballots for ranked-choice voting at the Oct. 20 meeting, and advocates will have 60 seconds per organization to make a pitch before we vote. Thank you to everyone who is so connected to the greater community and so generous.
Child Care will be provided all morning and will continue till the end of the meeting, approximately 1:00 p.m., Oct. 20.
