Nominating Community Partners

Every month, UUSS gives half of its Sunday offering to a local not-for-profit group. The congregation decides which 12 local not-for-profit groups will become “community partners” for the year at the UUSS congregational meeting in October. This year’s congregational meeting will be Sunday, October 20. If you would like to nominate an organization, please fill out the “UUSS Nomination for Community Partner” form which can be foud on the forms page. Your completed form must be received by the UUSS office by the close of business on October 1. Please note that this year’s community partners will not automatically be included on the ballot and must be nominated. Also, all nominations must be aligned with UUSS’s Strategic Plan, adopted by the congregation in October 2018.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
I heard from our Board Secretary that there are 17 local organizations nominated for the 12 Community Partners. The engagement of our congregation is exciting. So is the generosity. Our Bookkeeper reports that our Shared Sunday Offerings in September yielded $3,133 to the Mustard Seed School, a program of Loaves and Fishes which provides transitional support as a school and source of community to homeless children. Thanks, everyone!
I’m about ready to send a nomination but I don’t know what email address to use. Can you tell me where exactly to send it?
Thank you!
it says submit to office so i suppose you could email the form to before 5 today
