A Good September EJ Walk

Our new EJ Organizer Ms. Telitha Floyd brought the County workshop flyers and delicious Panera’s sandwiches and coffee to start our morning.
Ten of us wore masks and social distanced as Telitha told us a little about the West Arden Arcade neighborhood and prepared us to distribute flyers on neighborhood doorsteps letting residents know about the upcoming County Re-Envision West Arden Arcade workshops.
We distributed over 300 flyers to residents on a lovely fall morning.
Following is the flyer in English. The County has also provided it in Spanish, Arabic, Pashto, Farsi (Persian), and Russian. If you would like a copy of the flyer in any of these languages please let us know.
Please participate in the County workshops if you live, work or play in West Arden Arcade and have ideas of what you think this community should include. And share about it with others you know who may be interested.
The County contractor is creating a multimodal transportation plan but the County is also using this process to begin to build a vision for this community that will guide future planning and development.
