On October 5th (5-7 p.m.) and 8th (5-6:30 p.m.) Sacramento County is holding its workshops to talk with community members about design ideas to craft a shared vision for West Arden Arcade. Information on the virtual workshops, including links to the meetings, are located on the project website: www.bit.ly/WestArdenArcade
This is an important social justice issues because West Arden Arcade is a County-designated “Environmental Justice Community” where people of color, immigrants and low-income folks have health problems due to inequities in their environment.
County staff is doing outreach in English, Arabic, Farsi (Persian), Pashto, Russian and Spanish and has flyers available in all these languages to encourage all who live, work, play and do business in West Arden Arcade. They will provide language interpretive services in any of these languages if notified 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
See attached flyer in English. Please let us know if you’d like flyers in another of the languages to share with others.
Hope to see you there. Please share this information with others who may be interested.
