Easter Egg Hunt – Easter Sunday, April 20
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Sunday, April 20. We invite families to gather together near the playground lawn, about 10 minutes after service concludes. Nursery-aged children (up to age 5) will go through the nursery to do a hunt with their age group. Ages 6 and above will hunt on the main playground lawn in two groups: ages 6-8 will go first, and 9 and up will be allowed to enter the hunt a few minutes later. Some of the eggs will hold candy and small toys and other eggs will have tokens that families can redeem at the Bunny Money Exchange for items that are too large to fit in an egg such as pencils, stickers, book marks, small plants, treats and other items. There is also the opportunity to trade the candy from their eggs for non-candy items at the Bunny Money Exchange. Every effort has been made to reduce the amount of plastic in our Easter Egg Hunt and participants are asked to leave the plastic eggs for cleaning and reuse in next year’s hunt.
After the hunt, families are invited to stay for food, games, and crafts. Our friendly Easter Bunny will circulate and greet everyone of all ages and is available for photographs upon request.

The Family Ministry Team serves as the umbrella committee for ministry to families with children and for inter-generational programming at UUSS. This includes supporting children’s religious education programming, parenting groups and classes, youth and children’s groups (separate from RE or Sunday School), inter-generational activities, and the integration of children and youth into Sunday mornings.
Our Family Ministry Team mission is to promote family-friendly, church community events and support family-friendly programming throughout the year.
