UUSS will  have a booth at this year’s Sacramento Pride. We will need to staff the booth with volunteers on Saturday, June 10, 12p to 9p, and Sunday, June 11, 12p to 6p.

We will be offering a couple of activities for people who stop by — a prayer-flag activity and the opportunity to make something with pipe-cleaners and beads.

We need two or three volunteers a time at the table, staffing in hour increments, though longer shifts are certainly encouraged. Starting this week there will be a signup sheet at the Social Justice table in the lobby before and after the service.

We would love to see a range of ages among our volunteers, and families are encouraged to sign up.

Note that volunteers will have to buy tickets in advance to get into Pride, but UUSS has offered to give refunds to booth volunteers who file for reimbursement after.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 13-17, and free up to age 12. The link to buy tickets is https://sacramentopride.org/tickets/
