UUSS Family Promise – Strangest Week Ever!

For the first time in the history of Sacramento Family Promise there were no families that needed to stay at UUSS, but if there had been we were ready.
So a HUGE thank you to:
- Everyone who volunteered, holding their schedules open so that we could jump into action if need be
- The committee chairs who made sure that everyone was kept up to date
- The UUSS Staff and congregation for giving up valuable meeting space and finding alternative locations
And even though we didn’t have any families that week, I hope you feel as I do, that your time was not wasted. By showing that we at UUSS are ready and willing to meet our commitments we allow Family Promise to do what they need to do, help families find a path out of homelessness. The Family Promise Staff know that they can count on us and that should make us all proud.
Mark your calendars for the week of June 11 – 18 our next Family Promise Week.
