22 Hikers communed with each other and Nature as we spent a beautiful spring morning walking along peaceful Lake Natoma just steps away from Old Folsom. We got to view from afar the eagles’ nest on the bluffs across the lake (and 2 white blobs believed to be heads.) Wildflowers we observed were a few poppies, lupine, and brodiaea. Butterflies, bikers and kayakers were also out in force!

Next Walking Boots hike is planned for April 16 at Ancil Hoffman Park.
