This event is canceled due to predicted rain. Saturday, November 18, 2023 walk at
Ancil Hoffman Park, on Tarshes Drive in Carmichael. This is a change from the previously announced schedule.

The hike is 3 to 4 miles and is mostly easy except for a brief steep section. Parking at Ancil Hoffman requires a $6 parking fee or a County Park Pass.

If you plan to attend, RSVP to  and say where you will meet:

• To carpool from UUSS, meet at 9:25 am at UUSS
• To meet at Park, meet at 10:00 am at farthest parking lot, between two restrooms, not Effie Yeaw and not golf parking.

We will walk on dirt trails not suitable for strollers. Dogs are ok on this hike but you will need to shortcut the final portion of our loop because no dogs are allowed in the Effie Yeaw Nature Area.
