Spaces still available – sign up today! Hike in Ancil Hoffman Park on Saturday May 20, 7:45 AM. We’ll follow the game preserve trail around the golf course and dip down to the river in a 3-mile loop. Bird, deer, turkey, coyote sightings are all a possibility on Nancy’s Wilderness-in-Our-OwnBackyard series. LIMITED to 10 HIKERS. Sign-up for hike by emailing Nancy at . Rev. Hike location: Ancil Hoffman Park. Specific meeting location will be sent to those who have signed up for the hike.
Distance: 3 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Amenities: Restrooms and water fountains at starting point and several other places along the way.
Special features: Lots of wildlife and a nice river view.
Who can go? Adults, children (with adults) who can walk at up to 3 mph pace (no strollers), dogs on leash.
What to bring? Wear hiking boots or tennis shoes. Bring water and a hat and wear sunscreen.
