Our May hike will take place Saturday, May 21, in Land Park. Meet at 8:55 am at UUSS to carpool. If you would like to meet us at the park instead of UUSS, please email for directions to our meeting place.

The hike will be about 3 miles of mostly shady, easy walking on pavement or crushed granite, and should take about 90 minutes. We will stop briefly at the water lily pond and the WPA rock garden. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome on this hike. Their owners are welcome too!

We also have a great opportunity to let our walk benefit others by individually signing up to make an online donation to the CROP Hunger Walk, with funds going to a local food closet (South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet) and Church World Services. Participation in the CROP Hunger Walk program is optional; people may take part in the Walking Boots hike without making a donation.
