an interfaith service will take place tonight for prayer, solidarity, and remembrance of those lost or hurt in the attack on Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue. Opposing anti-Semitism, demagoguery and rampant gun violence in the U.S., I plan to be there along with clergy from various faith groups in this area, and UUSS members are invited to attend. 7:00 PM Congregation B’Nai Israel, 3600 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento. The local Jewish community appreciates all the gestures of kind support being made in this time of crisis.
