June 22 Not One More Rally

Not One More Deportation
Not One More Detention
Please join the Immigrant Justice group at UUSS as we travel to Marysville for a June 22 rally.
Immigrants are being inhumanely detained in facilities across California, as evidenced in a recent report by the state attorney general, including in the Yuba County Jail. Yuba has been under court order to improve health and safety conditions at the site for more than 40 years – long before it signed an agreement to house ICE detainees. In the past five years alone, there have been at least 42 suicide attempts – including one as recently as May 18, 2019 by someone in immigration detention there.
The Campaign for Immigrant Detention Reform cidrnorcal.com is holding a rally on June 22 to express our solidarity with the people held in detention at the Yuba jail. Please join us! Please spread the word!
The press conference will include families of those being detained and leaders from immigrants’- and civil-rights groups. There will be an opportunity to write notes to immigrants at Yuba County Jail.
Location: Yuba County Courthouse 215 5th St. Marysville, CA 95901

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Good morning,
I came in search of finding an organization that provides assistance to immigrants who are currently in custody and came across your site. It’s a little late for me to make it to the rally taking place today but I’m very interested in future events or ways I can help. I’m a student at Sacramento State and think I can provide insightful information, as well as word of mouth, and can help translate if needed. Please get back to me as soon as possible, I look forward to working together.
