Prayer Vigil for Immigrant Justice

There is an ongoing hunger strike by 21 people in immigration custody at the Yuba County Jail in Marysville, CA. Conditions there are intolerable. Immigrant Justice at UUSS supports the people at the Yuba jail through visits, commissary help, phone calls, letters of support, and many other ways. Please join us for the Prayer Vigil this evening. The hunger strike is led by the people inside the jail which meant that the time frame had to follow their guidance, and it came on quickly. Sorry for the short notice. It means a lot to them to know there are people outside who know and care about them.

All are welcome, regardless of faith affiliation.
