UU’s make a difference for the people in immigration detention at the Yuba county jail in Marysville

A very big hug and thank you to everyone who helped with the Holiday Cards today after the service.  You were able to finish 170 cards!  It’s hard to express how much the detainees appreciate receiving the cards.  One of the detainees who received a card last week wrote simply “it made me feel good getting a card in here”.  Thank you for the stamp donations and the money donations which will help cover the cost of mailing all 170 cards.  Thank you UUSS for all the support!
