UU Borders Trip

Interested in an exciting border issues immersion experience in Tijuana?
Join the UU Justice Ministry of California for 4 days: July 14-17. We stay in the suburb of Playas de Tijuana at the large home of a UU there, very close to the Pacific Ocean and the border wall. We learn about the push and pull for immigration in the United States. We meet many people (including veterans) who have been deported and are making their lives in TJ, away from families and friends. We visit shelters, meet activists, and gain a deeper understanding of the issues compounding the immigration crisis.
