Congratulations team!  A $350,000 grant has been awarded to develop a multi-modal transportation plan in a section of West Arden Arcade!  We helped to make this happen by demonstrating community support in November 2018.

The grant award states that major participants of this planning effort are to be the County, Regional Transit and neighborhood representatives.

Our next meeting is June 5th @ 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in our UUSS Library.  We’ll discuss how to optimize this grant process to best serve our diverse community, hone our advocacy positions for the July Board of Supervisors Environmental Justice workshop, and talk about our September 7 event with Rev. Dr. Ambrose Carroll who speaks about the intersection of racial inequality and climate change.  All are welcome.
