Our Sac Area Congregations Together Environmental Justice Committee met with Laurie Litman and Oscar Balaguer of “350 Sacramento” to learn more about climate change and environmental justice in our area.  Thank you to committee member Claudia Kirkpatrick (from the Friends [Quaker] Community) for arranging this meeting.

We will discuss the results of this and our other research meetings at UUSS on November 21 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. as part of the process of this committee deciding our priorities and actions.

The Sacramento Area Congregations Together Environmental Justice Committee will meet the third Tuesday of each month in the UUSS Fahs Room from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
