Sunday, July 21 @ Noon – 1:00 p.m. @ UUSS Fahs Room.  Sacramento ACT Executive Director Gabby Trejo will lead us in organizing to speak to the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors  on July 23 about the needs of our diverse West Arden Arcade community.

Tuesday, July 23 @ Board of Supervisors Chambers 700 H Street join us to stand for our community.  You can speak or sit with our group to show solidarity.  Time pending confirmation: 9:30 a.m. pre-meeting to prepare, 10:30 a.m. Board Workshop begins.

  1. That third category above should have read “Pollution Exposure and Air Quality.” Air quality is a real problem in West Arden Arcade especially in the areas such as around Business 80 and along Watt Avenue.

    We were going to prepare brief talking points for people but the Board of Supervisors’ workshop has been postponed. (See our new post about this above.)
    We have a lot of information available about the following topics on which we are working. It’s not possible to post all this on this website. For more information on these topics people are invited to come to our EJ Committee meeting the first Wednesday of each month in our UUSS Library from 7:00-8:30 (next meeting August 7) or email us at and we will send the relevant information and/or our current position for the topic of your interest.
