This is for a statewide petition to get an initiative, called Schools & Communities First, on the November ballot. This initiative would close commercial property loopholes to reclaim approximately $12 billion annually for schools and communities. It exempts all residential properties and small businesses with less than $3 million in assets.

Schools & Communities First is supported by a wide range of social justice organizations, including Sac ACT.
