JHYG Game Workshop – Act 2
Posted by Kate A
Posted on October 21, 2016
On a very rainy Sunday, JHYGers brainstormed the Types of Games to choose from, possible Objectives for a Game, Factors that influence success in Games, and the Attributes that make a Game interesting to play. Good Job. This week (10/23) we will identify the specific movement rules for our game(s) and make some movement cards. In doing this, we will determine how to win the Game. This will be the last Game Workshop in 2016. There will be a lab to work on individual games if you are not going to MUUGS on 11/6. See you on Sunday.

JHYG will typically dedicate the first and second Sunday of each month to the Neighboring Faiths curriculum. This curriculum requires regular attendance, both on those Sundays and then about once a month for a visit to another faith’s worship service. On September 18 at 11:45, there will be a one-hour parent meeting to acquaint parents and guardians with Neighboring Faiths, the plan for this year, and Anthony Johnson, the lead teacher to prepare us guardians, after the church service.
