Our former member Gloria Cox passed away last month at her residence in San Mateo.  She was an active person well into her 80s, playing tennis and golf and attending services.  She had been a teacher, puppeteer, and local activist.  We extend our condolences to her daughter, Ruth, and family.  The memorial service and celebration of life will take place at 3:00 PM, Sunday, Dec. 6, here at UUSS, reception following.  Contributions to honor Gloria’s memory may be made to Planned Parenthood, Peace Puppets, or the UUSS Endowment Trust.  UUSS, 2425 Sierra Blvd., Sacramento CA 95825.
