The service for our member and Board President Tonie Darling takes place in person and streaming on Zoom at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 9.  Click uuss.org/online for the link (the same one used for Sunday services).   We do expect a large number of people in person, and face masks are required.

The reception will be outside on the covered patio.  (If you are able to support the reception with food, please contact Tiki Harlow or Tracy Jones right away.  You may also contribute funds to UUSS to support Memorial Receptions expenses.)

Memorial contributions to honor Tonie’s legacy may be given to the following:

• Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research

• Women Escaping a Violent Environment (WEAVE of Sacramento).

• The Sacramento Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the Sacramento Valley Bankruptcy Forum have created a memorial fund to carry on Tonie’s legacy of professional mentorship.  Funds will be used to help send junior attorneys to the annual Eastern District Conference and law students to the annual Northern California Bankruptcy Conference.  Donations for these awards in Tonie’s honor can be sent by check to the FBA’s attention:
