Bogus and fraudulent “Go Fund Me” email appeal

Several UUSS members received what looks like an email from UUSS with an appeal for donations for surgery for a child named “Kelley.”
This is an unauthorized use of email and a bogus request from a criminal party, not a message from the church. We have no pastoral connection with any case described in that email and we would not go about providing support to parishioners or their families in that way. Thanks to those of you who brought it to our attention. We will bring it to the attention of the authorities. — Roger
