Opportunities to Serve and Celebrate Dec. 16 through Jan. 1
Sunday, Dec. 16 after service–many choices today
- Adopt a Family with our Refugee Support Team: Pick up a list of requested items for the five families. See more at uuss.org/refugeesupport or contact Gina Guarneri.
- Submit your service, event or raffle item for the Growing Love Auction.
- Christmas carol singing at the piano 11:45 a.m.
- Write holiday cards to immigrants held in detention by ICE. See more at uuss.org/immigrantjustice or contact Susan Lange
Sunday morning, Dec. 23, 10:30 a.m.–All-Ages Celebration Service
Bring an ornament or use one of ours to decorate the tree during the service.
Come to sing, come to listen, come to share. Newcomers’ Orientation 11:45-1:00.
7:00 p.m., Monday, Dec. 24
Christmas Eve Candle Light Service: O Holy Night
Carols, candles, prayer, and a message just for this night. All ages welcome.
The entire offering tonight will support River City Food Bank.
2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 25
Christmas Day Potluck Dinner
Sign up after church Dec. 16 or 23, or contact Laurie Jones
Bring a dish and $5/person. Setup & cleanup help welcome.
9:00 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 1
New Year’s Day Labyrinth Walk & Potluck Brunch
Join Rev. Lucy for this annual tradition and say farewell as she begins her sabbatical till April.
Bring an item to share for the brunch; coffee is provided. Dress warmly for the walk.
