Thank you for your generosity and your concern. Here are a few ways to give.
If you are not able to give online or would rather write a check, make it out to UUA and put Hurricane Irma or Hurricane Harvey in the memo line. You can drop it off at the church office at UUSS any weekday till 5:00 or mail it to Hurricane Relief, UUA, 24 Farnsworth St., Boston 02210. To learn how the money will be distributed, click on the web links.
Hurricane Harvey: this is the UUA & UU Service Committee link for your donations: https://giving.uua.org/harvey-floods
Hurricane Irma: This is the UUA and UU Service Committee link: https://giving.uua.org/irma-aid?utm_medium=uua.org&utm_source=feature2&utm_campaign=homepage
Also, donations made directly to First UU Church of Houston will go to work directly, shared equally between repairs to the church and support of homeless persons in Houston. If you go to the church website, http://www.firstuu.org , click Online Donations and then scroll down to Other Donations till you see the box for Hurricane Harvey.
