An Intergen Christmas

From Keith’s December Unigram Article
I learned a new word at last summer’s UU musicians’ conference. “Intergen” is short for “intergenerational,” and several UU churches have intergenerational choirs. We already have “all ages” services once a month, but this Christmas season our choir, some of our children and their parents, a few teens, and our own UUSS ukulele playing group will all sing and play together — “intergenerationally!”
This new “intergen” group will sing “The Message of the Holly” in our All Ages December 23rd service as we celebrate Christmas together. We’ll also have our UUSS band playing Christmas carols, and I look forward to several generations of our UUSS family continuing to make music together in 2019, too.
