At the end of this year, many thanks are extended to a total of 61 UUs and friends who came together with helping hands to heal the small part of the world that is UUSS’s adopted mile of the American River Parkway.  Each second Saturday throughout the year, an average of more than a dozen UU’s came together on the UU mile, in good spirits, to pick up trash and restore the UU mile to beautiful condition.  In addition, the UU Parkway Stewards sponsored two Soup Sundays during the year.  It’s been a privilege to spend time with these wonderful people!
