April 2022 UUSS Parkway Stewards Cleanup — A Job Well Done

Thanks to the 14 of us who showed up on April 9th and pitched in to make our UU Mile (Mile 6/7 North of the American River Parkway) cleaner and more presentable. It was a lively crew out there on a very beautiful day. At the end of our hour’s efforts, we were very grateful to Nikki, a school psychologist in the Sacramento City Unified School District, who came by where we finish at the levee across from Northrop and generously offered us pastries and scones. Thanks for your kindness, Nikki; it was much appreciated! Later, a number of us went off to Panera Bread and enjoyed coffee and each other’s company…
We have another monthly UU cleanup coming up this second Saturday of May, specifically May 14th. If you are free that day, we could use your help so please consider joining us!!! I will be sending out a reminder next week as to our May date.
Thanks for all that you do,
Eric Ross
