Hi, Folks,

Last week, Linda and I sought an easy vantage point for the river’s beauty. No trek and no fancy camera were needed for this photograph, only twenty feet from our car with an iPhone at the Howe Ave. boat ramp. Behind us and downstream a few hundred yards, on the bridge, an average of about 25,000 cars pass by each day. Ducks and geese abound at the boat ramp; while upstream ahead a few hundred yards and beyond the curve, from my kayak I’ve photographed otters, beavers, deer, herons, egrets, and a host of other wildlife living quietly in our midst.

Wishing you chances today to turn away from the tumult, to look up and out, and to experience the beauty still there to be seen in nature.
